On May 8, 2026, the United States Department of War began releasing photos from their UFO files at the direction of President Donald Trump.
The Pentagon Leaks the UFO Files
In February, Trump had previously said on his social media platform Truth Social: “I will be directing the Secretary of War to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)… GOD BLESS AMERICA! “
But now we are actually beginning to see the results…
The Pentagon and the Director of National Intelligence are also collaborating on the investigation. They are looking into and releasing both recent photos and videos, and historical evidence that has long been covered up.

Other Famous UFO Sightings
In July 1947, a farmer discovered unusual metallic debris on his farmland in New Mexico. The neighboring Roswell Army Air Field initially declared that it had come from an unidentified “Flying Disk”.
Decades later, after all of the evidence was removed, they changed the story now claiming that it was actually a high-altitude balloon which was meant to detect Soviet nuclear missile tests, and it was part of the top secret Project Mogul. So we know the government lied about this vehicle, but the question is did they lie then? Or are they lying now?
The US’s Northern neighbor Canada also had a bizarre sighting of its own on November 7, 1990, which only makes sense if its a UFO. From 7:00 PM to roughly 10:00 PM, above the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Montreal, a cluster of 8 to 10 yellow, amber, and white lights appeared in the sky.
Whatever it was remained stationary for the entire three hours before moving
East-ward towards the ocean, and eventually disappearing into the clouds.
Reports taken by the RCMP and SPVM were unable to confirm what the object
or objects were.
According to a report, which was partly written by NASA scientist Dr. Richard
Haines, it was “indisputable” that there was evidence for a “highly unusual, hovering,
silent large object” or UFO. The same report concluded that any object capable of
appearing this way would be a massive 540 meters wide.
The next most important UFO sighting is in 2004, when multiple US Navy Pilots witnessed a Unidentified Flying Object they described as looking like a white Tic Tac.

Tic Tac Object: Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena
Footage released as part of the DOW investigation shows this Tic Tac-shaped object.
The group was undergoing a training exercise when the ship USS Princeton detected multiple unusual aerial vehicles on the radar. These UFOs were reportedly descending 80,000 feet in less than a second, something no known aircraft is capable of.
Navy Commander David Fravor, who was flying in a F/A-18F jet in part of the group, and three of his colleagues flew closer to investigate. Fravor described the vehicle as the same size as his jet but with no visible wings, markings, or any of the technical aspects that would be expected.
That’s when, according to his testimony before the House Oversight Committee, the UFO had taken evasive maneuvers and was detected 60 miles away in less than a minute. Again, which would be technically impossible for any earthly vehicle.
Back to Today
Now, after years of the government and the media telling us we are crazy simply for asking questions, more evidence has continued to come out.
So far, the files released by the government have shown several unidentified flying objects, which the government believes could be either aliens or part of foreign intelligence operations.
While the investigation is far from its conclusion, the government claims its focus in sharing this with full transparency. In addition to these photos, the US government publicly released over 161 classified documents related to UFOs.
“It’s time the American people see it for themselves,” – Secretary of War Pete Hegseth wrote on the DOW website.
But why now?
The start of this investigation and the subsequent release of these documents came just weeks after the FBI launched a similar investigation into 13 missing or dead U.S. scientists.
The scientists who went missing were mainly researching Nuclear and Aerospace technology and UFOs, leading many online to wonder: Is there some connection?
Certainly, the same entities, whether foreign or alien threats, that benefit from these scientists disappearing, are those controlling the UFOs.
It also comes as over the recent years, several prominent politicians like former congressman Matt Gaetz and even former president Barack Obama have now acknowledged that Aliens do in fact exist.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve come to the US or even that they’ve come to our planet.
Still, until recently, the idea that aliens existed, or much less that the US Government was actively researching UFOs, was a closely guarded secret. Now we are getting some information, but that most likely means there’s still more the government isn’t revealing.
For instance: Are these images aliens? Are they a foreign intelligence operation? Or are they just another distraction?
